IT Systems Automation Specialist
Description
SureFire IT is a dynamic and growing technology management service company based out of Edmonton. We are looking for an IT Systems Automation Specialist to join our team to develop and implement technology solutions that require minimal human input. The duties will include developing, implementing and monitoring automated systems used internally to create efficiencies with SureFire’s internal processes. The position is full-time Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm MT.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AI-powered solutions for automation that reduces manual effort across internal IT operations
- Document solutions, create knowledge base articles, and contribute to process improvements.
- Contribute to IT projects including system improvements, migrations, and platform enhancements
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in AI, Automation & scripting within the Managed IT Services industry.
- Develop scripts and services to support provisioning, monitoring, remediation, and reporting
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows PowerShell, REST API, Webhooks and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, VMware/Hyper-V, and networking.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience using Remote Management & Monitoring (RMM) and a Professional Services Automation is considered an asset.
